Purple Crane director and co-founder
Andy’s career in software development started when he volunteered to fix a bad user interface, even though he was employed as the technical writer. He proceeded to put his BSc Hons in Computer Science and MSc in Advanced Methods in Computer Science to work as a developer, and throughout his career has kept his focus on developing products that people find easy to use.
With 10 years’ experience in software development and project management, much of it in the telecoms industry, Andy set up Purple Crane with fellow director Chris Bond in 2007.
A Crystal Palace supporter, keen hiker, and a professional member of the BCS Chartered Institute for IT (MBCS), Andy enjoys real ale, and if it weren’t for Purple Crane he’d probably be running a small brewery.
